Enumerating equations equivariantly

Resumen: Given a hypersurface, can we find a method of determining how many times it arises (up to projective isomorphism) in families of hypersurfaces? This general question has irritated me and my collaborators (A. Deopurkar, M. Lee, H. Spink, D. Tseng) for some time, and in this talk I will sketch our current, infinitesimal progress.
